Stuart was born in 1883, the son of Alexander Boyd and Charlotte Faraker.[1]
In 1891 Stuart A Boyd was living with his family on High Road, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. He was 7.
By 1911 Stuart was living in Sunderland, Durham. Aged 27.
Occupation: Electrician
When Stuart was 30 years old he emigrated from England to Australia. When the 1st World War broke out he enlisted and fought in the 18th Battalion, 4th Reinforcements.

Embarkation details: Unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board Argyllshire on 30 September 1915.

Stuart was killed in action in France on 5 May 1917. He was 33 years of age. He has no known grave. His brother Kenneth Seymour Boyd was also killed in the 1st World War.
