Biography

Joseph/Josef Boyer was born 6 November 1760, in Kaskaskia, Illinois, son of Nicolas Antoine Boyer III (1716–1785) and Dorothee Olivier (1716–1785).

He married Marie-Therese Robinette 6 November 1780, in Ste Genevieve County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Jean Louis Robinet and Marie Magdeleine Redre.Ste. Genevieve Church Records Ste. Genevieve Court House Papers, Marriage Contracts 4 Nov 1780.
