Elmer S. Boyer was born about 1862 in Wakefield, Carleton Co, N.B., son of William J Boyer (1817–1892) and Susannah H. Shaw (1817–1906).[1]

Elmer died on 16 Apr 1889 in Hartland, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada, aged about 26. He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland, Carleton County, New Brunswick.[2] [1]
