Henry ll (Plantagenet-1627) is my 26th Great Grandfather and Charlemagne (Carolingian-77) is Henry Plantagenet's 11th Great Grandfather making Charlemagne my 39th Great Grandfather.[with plus 2 for Charlemagne's Father and Grandfather].
Angela Boyer was born in Upstate New York her Father Gerard Boyer was French CanadIan tracing back to Jean-Baptiste Boyer born about 1699, St Andre de Barreme, Diocese of Senez, Provence, France. The immediate Boyer tree Angela is related to, live in Canada and speak French other than her siblings and their families who live in the US.. We may discover branches that migrated to the States and hopefully branches of cousins in France! Update, since joining Wikitree and with the collaborative tree we have beyond the immediate cousins in Quebec, we have cousins from Acadia, Manitoba, Louisiana, New Brunswick and finding more daily! My Mom's Lamica family is mostly from Canada too with background generations from France, England and Scotland
DNA test wise I show a bit of the Denmark/ Northern Russia gene and Western Europe including Begium. That has me wondering if De Liege in the Lamitie family were from Liege, Belgium? Ancestry DNA now has me at 75% French and 25% English and Western Europe ( this circle includes Scotland Parts of France, Belgium,Germany and Denmark). Recently my MTDNA test results confirmed that my maternal Halogroup H-86 reaches back to Jeanne Solde-7 who immigrated from France as part of The Grand Recru. There is a Quebec DNA Project on Family Tree that my results matched and are now part of a 7 person Triangulation of her Jeanne Soldé daughters lines. The study by Luc Baronian is posted in the Quebec ADN mtDNA Project on Family Tree.
Through my paternal Boyer line I am related to Sarah Allen who married Guillaume Lalonde (my 7th Great Grandparents) we trace back to British and Euroaristocracy as the Royal families married to form alliances.
Using Wikitree Genealogy Research> "Relationship to me" I have been able to find many of these distant ancestors including Euro aristocracy!
Have you taken a DNA test? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

It was pointed out to me that we look somewhat alike. What do you think?

There is no Banner for the people who were part of La grande recrue, although there is a category for them. What is normally done is that those who are named on the plaque get added to the photo of said plaque in links. Which Jeanne Soldé already is on.

Thanks for your message. You might find it interesting to note that you have a lineage to Louis Capet-11 via our shared ancestor, Anne Couvent-6. He's one more generation distant than Henry Plantagenet, but actually reigned a bit more recently, from 1223-1226.

saw your message about Marie Barbant Marie Brabant's profile ID converts to "Boring-2" on her English translated profile. Are you using Googletranslate perchance? lol, my recommendation is to never use that thing, it is demonstrably an idiot box when it comes to translation.
