Frederick was born about 1867. He passed away about 1941.

Following is a declaration made by Abigail (Nevers) Boyer July 3, 1916, possibly to receive a family allowance while her husband was overseas during World War I: Dominion of Canada. Province of British Columbia, In the matter of Ethel Maude Boyer, Beatrice Marjorie Boyer, and Fred Nevers Boyer, being the children of Pte. Fred Daniel Boyer, No. 490654 Pioneer Battalion. To Wit: I Abbie Jane Boyer of the City of Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia, do solomenly declare that I am the wife of Pte. Fred Daniel Boyer, No. 490654, Pioneer Battalion, and that there was born to us three children, as follows: Ethel Maude Boyer, born in New Brunswick on the 31st day of March, 1899; Beatrice Marjorie Boyer, born in Temiscouta County, Quebec, on the 23rd day of June, 1901; Fred Nevers Boyer, born in Temiscouta County, Quebec, on the 15th day of October, 1903. That I was married to the said Pte. Fred D. Boyer at Parish of Peel, County of Carleton, Province of New Brunswick, on the 22nd day of June, 1898, by Rev. A.H. Hayward. And I make this solemn declaration concientiously believing it to be true, and know that it is of the same force and effect as if made under oath and by virtue of the Canada Evidence Act, 1893. Declared before me at the City of Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia this third day of July, A.D., 1916 - C.J. South, J.P. Signed, Abbie Jane Boyer.
