Clara was born in 1926 to Walter Boyette and Lucy Daniel. She was raised in Virginia, but married Dave Morse and lived much of her adult life in Winn Parish, Louisiana.
She had five step-children and one daughter.
In 1985, she moved back to Virginia. There she was ordained a Deacon in the church her parents helped found. And several years she was elected Chaplain of the Residents Association where she resided.
She passed away in 2015 at Hopewell Healthcare Center.
