Boyle-1039 and Boyle-1016 appear to represent the same person because: same name, dates, places, parents and spouse

Boyle-1016 and Boyle-1039 do not represent the same person because: The James Boyle who was my great grandfather was married to Lucy Jewett and died circa 1880 near Chicago.
