OBITUARY. Commander Edward Louis Dalrymple Boyle, C.M.G., R.N. (retired), died on Saturday at his residence in Cranley-gardens, aged 58. The son of Captain Robert Boyle, R.A., he served in the Egyptian War of 1882 and in the Sudan in 1884, and was Naval Attaché at Rio de Janeiro from 1914 to 1919. In 1917 he was made C.M.G. He married, first, Theodosia Isabella, daughter of E. D. S. Ogilvie, of New South Wales, and had a son and daughter. Mrs. Boyle died in 1910, and in 1912 he married Sybil Mary, daughter of Berkeley Paget. The Times - December 18, 1923
