Biography

He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) He was with the Colonial Admin Service between 1938 and 1940. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1940 with a Master of Arts (M.A.). He was with Minister of Shipping and Minister of War, Transport between 1940 and 1945. He was advisor to various inter-Governmental and commercial organisations internationally. He sold Desart, County Armagh in 1961. He was appointed Fellow, Chartered Institute of Transport.
