Biography

He was the son of Murrough Boyle and Anne Coote. He was baptised 5 June 1688 at Saint Anne, Soho,Westminster, London, England. ^[1]

Charles married (1) Rose Coote, daughter of his uncle Colonel Hon. Richard Coote and his wife Penelope Hill.

Charles married (2) Martha Matthews, daughter of Samuel Matthews and Anne Cuffe, on 11 June 1709

Child

1. Murrough died in infancy 1710.

He sat as Member of Parliament for Blessington between 1711 and 1718, when he succeeded in the viscountcy on the death of his father. After his death in Paris he was buried at St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin and, although his estates passed to his sister Anne, his titles became extinct

He died in France and was buried in Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.

The sepulture of the following persons is extracted, chiefly, from the register of this cathedral. 1733 -- May 17, Charles, second Viscount Blessington, interred ; he died at Paris, 2d June 1732, his father and grandfather . . . were buried here ; and likewise his son (aged only five months, 20th December 1710,) ^[2]
