Researchers Notes
Descendants of Joshua Yeates and Nancy made application to the Daughters of the American Revolution, stating that he died May 6, 1831, in Montgomery county, Kentucky. According to the DAR, the service claimed belonged to Joshua Yates, born 1742, in Anne Arundel county, Maryland, who died there in 1793 and did not have service in Loudoun county, Virginia. The applicants used the name "Nancy Boilston" and named Benjamin's wife as "Verlinda Ford." [4]
