Frances (aka Elvenia) was born in Georgia in 1851 to Newsome Byrd William Bracewell and Frances Elvenia Harden.
Frances Elvenia Bracewell married Charles Richard Windham on 11 Aug 1872 in Laurens County, Georgia.[1] Windham's name was misspelled on the marriage record as Winham. They had eleven children, eight of whom reached adulthood.
By 1910, Charles and Elvenia were living in Lowery, Laurens County, Georgia.[2] There were five adult children (Fannie, Sarah, Adonard, Cora, and Ethan), a granddaughter (Eula B Windham, 12), and a boarder in the home. By 1920, only daughters, Hannie (Fannie?) and Cora, both single, were living with Charles and Elvenia.[3]
Elvenia passed away in 1930. Burial was in the Bracewell Cemetery in Laurens County, Georgia.
