Margaret (Bracken) McGrew was born about 1735 in New Castle, Delaware Colony, daughter of Thomas Bracken (about 1695–before 1780) and Martha (Green) Bracken (1706–1780).
Her siblings were:

Margaret married William McGrew Jr (born about 1730 in Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; son of John Robert McGrew and Elizabeth McGrew) on 21 Jun 1756 in New Castle, Delaware. Their known children were:
