Daniel applied for land to the Washington, Applications for Enrollment and Adoption of Washington Indians, based on his mother being a full blood indian. The application was unanimously denied.[3][4][5]

Death

Daniel Bracken died in January of 1926.[6]He is interred at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle, Garfield, Colorado.
