Biography

The birth of James Bracken was recorded in Killesher parish records on the 12th February 1860; his parents noted as William Bracken and Eliza Balfour of Drumgague. [1]

The oldest & only child born in Ireland. Arrived in NSW 28 Jul 1862 at 2.5 yr a few months before the 2nd one was born

Married Caroline READ & had 8 children William James, Florence, George, Ellen. Laura a, John James, Christopher Joseph, & Henry A

He passed away in 1931.
