Biography

Isaac was born in North Carolina in about 1780 to William Brackin [4]. He made the move with his parents to Georgia where it is believed that his mother died. He later moved to Henry County , Alabama. As of this point in time (2018), the first wife of William Brackin and mother of Isaac has not been identified. So little is known about Isaac Brackin. He was married and 5 children have been identified as belonging to them. It is not known when or where Isaac died.

4. On June 20, 1853, Moses G. Matthews, acting Justice of the Peace for Dale County appeared before the Judge of Probate (A. Echols) and testified that William A. Brackin was duly sworn and deposeth. William A. Brackin swore that William Brackin, a revolutionary soldier, died in Henry County on August 13, 1833. He left a widow who was his second wife and who died about one month after her husband. He left only two surviving heirs, both by his first wife, Isaac and Matthew Brackin.
