Biography

Josiah was born on 25 July 1704 in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts. He was the son of Wymond Bradbury and Mariah (Cotton) Bradbury.^[1][2]

Josiah Bradbury married Anna Stevens on 6 March 1738 in Gloucester, Massachusetts.^[3]

They had three children:

1. Josiah, b. 16 Feb 1739
2. Anna, b. 21 Feb 1742
3. Mariah, b. 29 Aug 1744

The family relocated from Gloucester, Massachusetts to Pownalborough, Maine. Josiah was an innholder in 1773.^[4]
