When Ruth Bradbury Bailey was born on December 24, 1786, in Portland, Maine, her father, Winthrop, was 23 and her mother, SUSANNA, was 23. She married Hudson Bailey on October 15, 1807, in Maine. They had six children in 20 years. She died on December 23, 1877, in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, at the impressive age of 90, and was buried in South Portland, Maine.
