Hello Leslie,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

Welcome to our community, Les. With your research going that far back, many of your ancestors are probably already on WikiTree so you're a jump start ahead. :)

Our Honor Code, G2G forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

Please consider stopping by the Tree House to introduce yourself.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

Hi, Leslie. Greetings from WikiTree!

We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree.

We offer free-space pages where you can publish family reunion news, or build a story about a family pet, or the town you grew up in, or some other subject of interest to you.

We have a weekly photo contest so others can enjoy some of the great pictures on our site, and a profile of the week contest to encourage excellence.

If you'd like to help us grow our global tree, please click the volunteer link and leave a message telling us of your interest.

Of central importance is our Honor Code. We treat each other with respect and consideration.
