Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Georgian Bradford is a part of US Black heritage.

Georgian was born in 1852. She was a slave on the Walnut Hill Plantation in Leon County, Florida. Her enslaver was Thomas Anderson Bradford, founder of the planation. She most likely was born on the plantation, as her date of birth was recorded in the plantation journal by Thomas's daughter, Sallie Bradford. [1] It appears from the family grouping in the journal that she was the daughter of Pheba.
