Biography

Cora Elizabeth Bradley was born at Tumbarumba in 1900. She was the daughter of John William Anthony Bradley and Rose Ann Josephine Byrne.

She married Walter Patrick Lockwood in 1938 at Tumbarumba. A report of their marriage appeared as follows:^[1]

On November 24 the Rev. J.Hanranhan officiated at All Saints' Church at the marriage of Miss Corrie Bradley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. A. Bradley, of Tumbarurnba, to Mr. Walter Lockwood, son of Mrs. S. Lockwood and the late Mr. W. Lockwood, of Wagga.The bride's sister, Miss V. Bradley, was bridesmaid, and the best man was Mr. K. Souttar, of Temora. The honeymoon was spent in a motor tour of the South Coast. The newly-married couple's home will be in Wagga.

Cora passed away in 1980.
