Katie Alvey, 82, died Saturday (4/30/1988) at Pavilion Healthcare Center. She was the former Katherine Bradley, a native of Hart Co Survivors: a son Joseph Alvey; two daughters Nora Thorpe and Mary Tewell; a sister Cleo Meredith of Glendale; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral 10am, Tuesday St Louis Bertrand Catholic Church 1104 S Sixth St, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Arch L Heady Southern Funeral Home 3601 Taylor Blvd. after 1pm Monday.
