James Dickerson Bradley was born on February 12, 1840 in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States, son of James Alexander Bradley (1813–1891) and Elizabeth Goldsmith (1818–1909).[1]
James (21) married Margaret Elmira Corn (22) (born on May 5, 1839, in Henderson County, North Carolina; daughter of Arthur Corn and Winifred (Drake) Corn) on December 27, 1861, in Buncombe County. Their children were:
