We lost a dear loved one, her name is Jeanette

The memories of her, we will never forget.

She loved her family, with a heart of gold

Her life with Jesus, now begins to unfold.

Dean is her husband, and they married for life

It seems like yesterday, that he took her as a wife.

They cherished their lives together, for near 50 years

Thoughts of not having her, brings us all to tears.

But she is with other loved ones, in a better place

With the glow of Gods grace, shining on her face.

Yes we will miss her, but she will will always be here

In our hearts her memory, we will always hold dear.

Springtime you can remember, the flowers she loved to grow

In the winter you can see her, in the sparkle of the snow.

Butterflies in the Summer, with the beauty of their wings

Autumn brings the harvest, and all its bountiful things.

Yes we will miss her, with her smiling face

But with her arrival, Heaven is a better place.

Jeanette had two children, both of them boys

When they were little, she gave them many toys.

She gave them balls and bats and a baseball glove

But her greatest gift to them, was her motherly love.

As time went along, her grandchildren came

Joy came to her eyes, when you mentioned their names.

Gone are her pains, sickness and strife

Happy in Heaven beginning her eternal life.

The thought of this for me, relieves a little of the pain

Until in the future when God, calls my name.
