Biography

Stephen Bradshaw Jr.,was born Feb. 24, 1739, the son of Stephen Bradford and Mary Williams of Medford, Massachusetts^{[1] [2]}.

On November 22, 1763, he married Mary Mansfield of Amesbury^{[3] [4]}, and their children included^[5]:

1. Stephen, born Sept. 15, 1764 in Amesbury^{[6] [7]}, who may have died young, or been baptized in 1766 (see below)
2. Polly or Mary Bradshaw, born Sept 14, 1768 in Salem^{[5] [8]}, who married William Ives September 12, 1790^[9] (Her son John was executor of her brother Stephen's Estate
3. Stephen, born 1766^{[5] [10]}, who died Dec. 29, 1842 in Salem^{[11] [12]}

Stephen Bradshaw died July 28, 1778^[13], , where his brother John was living. He was buried July 31, 1778 in Beverly, Massachusetts^[14]

On Feb. 28, 1781, his widow Mary (Mansfield) Bradshaw remarried Robert Peele, the son of Robert Peele and Mary Bartlett of Salem^{[15] [16]}, had a son William, baptized March 3, 1781^[17], and died January 22, 1824, at age 83^[18]
