Biography

Son of Terrence and Katherine Brady

Husband first to Rose Marie Rene, who died in 1896. He then married Grace George in 1897.

Father to actress Alice Brady (Born Mary Rose in 1892) and William Brady Jr. (born 1900)

William A. Brady Sr. was an actor, a theater producer, and a famous boxing promoter - being the only man to ever successfully promote two world heavyweight boxing champions (James J. Jeffries and James J. Corbett).

Brady was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1998.
