  • Catherine is credited with popularizing the custom of drinking tea in the English Court. It had already become popular amongst the nobility in Portugal, where she raised.
  • Queens County, New York (aka the Borough of Queens, New York City) is widely believed to be named in her honor, although there is no surviving documentation to prove it.
