Biography

Alisa was born in 1883. She is the daughter of Pekka Juhonpoika Bragge and Maria Ojalainen. [1] The family lived in Hiitola, Finland. [2] [3] [4] [5]

She moved to Käkisalmi, Finland 1907 [6] where she married Aukusti Juhonpoika Aho soon after. [7]

Aliisa and her sister Hilja changed continents on S.S. Virginian of Allan Line. The ship sailed from Liverpool 27 May 1910 and arrived in Quebec 8 Jun 1910. [8] [9]

The sisters continue over the border to St. Albans, Vermont. Their final destination is Hancock, Michigan. [10]

In Hancock she meets up with her husband who has arrived the previous year. [11] [12]

The couple then continue to Aberdeen, Washington 1920. [13]

Alisa dies 1926 in Castle Rock, Washington. [14] She is buried in Seeborg cemetery (also known as Hazel Dell cemetery).

Her husband lived with their children in Hazel Dell, Washington 1930 [15] and passed away 1936. [16]
