1776 Project
Private Asaph Brainerd served with 8th Connecticut Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Asaph Brainerd served as a Private in Captain Abraham Filer's 9th Company, 8th Connecticut Provincial Regiment. He enlisted on 9 July 1775 and died in service on 1 Dec 1775.[1]
