Biography
Charles Braithwaite, 81, passed away peacefully on 4 January 1962 at Mayfield, Sanpete, Utah. He was born on 29 September 1880 at Manti, Sanpete,k Utah, a son of William Braithwaite, 1842-1909 and Elizabeth (Francis) Braithwaite, 1850-1918. He married Emma Rosalia Molter in 1903.
The survivors of Mr. Braithwaite were: his children, Anona E. (Braithwaite) Steck, b. 1904; Charles Maurice Braithwaite, b. 1906; Byron Claude Braithwaite, b. 1909; Homer Ray Braithwaite, b. 1912; Jean Molter Braithwaite, b. 1914; Elizabeth (Braithwaite) Nielsen, b. 1917; Dick Molter Braithwaite, b. 1925; siblings, Robert Francis Braithwaite, b. 1876; Katie Murill (Braithwaite) Thueson, b. 1886; twins, Mary (Braithwaite) Larsen, and Martha (Braithwaite) Richey, both b. 1890; half siblings, Rebecca (Braithwaite) Johnson, b. 1888; Ruby (Braithwaite) Cheever; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; wife, Emma, 1883-1945; child, infant Lois Braithwaite, 1923-1923; siblings, William Francis Braithwaite, 1868-1959; James Askew Braithwaite, 1870-1871; infant John Samuel Braithwaite, 1872-1872; George Kendall Braithwaite, 1873-1874; Rose Hannah (Braithwaite) Bartholomew, 1875-1915; Rowland Braithwaite, 1878-1889; Elizabeth (Braithwaite) Dixon, 1882-1955; infant Milton Braithwaite, 1883-1883; Frank Braithwaite, 1884-1956; half siblings, infant Margaret Braithwaite, 1882-1882; infant James William Braithwaite, 1884-1884; infant Jane Braithwaite, 1886-1886; Sarah Ellen (Braithwaite) Cheever, 1891-1944; and Ruth Braithwaite, 1897-1898.
