Rebecca (Braithwaite) Johnson, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 3 March 1970 of causes incident to age. She was born on 29 January 1888 at Huntington, Emery, Utah, a daughter of William Braithwaite, 1842-1909 and Rose Ellen (Walker) Braithwaite, 1867-1950. She married Oscar Albion Johnson on 2 January 1907 at the Latter Day Saints Temple, Manti, Sanpete, Utah.

Mrs. Johnson was survived by: her children, Clara Rebecca Johnson, b. 1907; Dawna (Johnson) Andress, b. 1918; Quinn B. Johnson, b. 1924; siblings, Ruby (Braithwaite) Cheever, b. 1898; half siblings, Robert Francis Braithwaite, b. 1876; Katie Murill (Braithwaite) Thueson, b. 1886; Mary (Braithwaite) Larsen, b. 1890; Martha (Braithwaite) Richey, b. 1890; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Oscar, 1883-1949; son, Quinn B.
