LA PLATA HOME PRESS, La Plata, Missouri August 21, 1947 ELBERT IVISION BRAMMER ---Elbert Ivison Brammer was born April 15, 1890 in La Plata, Missouri where he lived until entering the army in 1917. ---On August 31, 1918 he was married to Virginia Denning of Boswoeth, Missouri. ---After leaving the army they located in Brookfield, Missouri where their only child, Elizabeth Ann, was born. ---In 1929 he became affiliated with the Colgate-Palmolive Company, locating at Topeka, Kansas where he was residing at the time of his death. ---Besides his wife and daughter he is survived by two brothers, George Brammer of La Plata and Walter of Kansas City.
