My maternal family are Irish and Scottish, from Wexford and Dublin. On my paternal side, things are a little fuzzy, My Grandmother was from Wales and was married to a farmer, her name was Ibah Harden, all I know is she ran off to the West Midlands with a man who may have been a salesman. His name was Alexander Brammer, same as my Father I believe. This man may have been of German descent, although on this I'm not absolutely certain. There is more to this, but I'm not 100% certain of everything as my Grandmother was a very secretive woman.
