George Branch of Surry County married 1677 to Susanna, daughter of Captain William Corker, who was Burgress for Surry County 1655-1656. His burial details are unknown but most likely burial some in Isle of Wight, Virginia on the family farm or local cemetery. If he had a tombstone, probably long gone. [1]

Whereas, Francis England, George Branch's grandfather in his will May 13, 1677, gave 1300 acres of his land his estate to Joyce, his wife, who afterwards married George Cripps and grave said land to said Cripps. George Branch is lawful jeir to his grandfather's land and now sells to Geore Moore.
