Biography

Catherine was born about 1814. She was the daughter of Joseph Brandenburg and Delilah Vasser. She passed away about 1880.

Catharine was the third wife of Archibald McGuire. They married in 1835 in Estill Co., KY, with her father, Joseph Brandenburg giving consent. Archibald and Catharine had several children:

  1. Elizabeth Ann McGuire, born c1837

  3. Thomas Jefferson McGuire, born c1840
  4. Jonathan McGuire, born c1842
  5. Christopher Columbus McGuire, born c1843
