I always had a love of music and dancing and still do. In my 30's my then husband Ian and myself learned to dance latin ballroom and rocknroll which we ended up teaching. Later we started line dancing and had our own line dancing club. This all stopped when Ian and I separated and later divorced.
I do weird things like I have to have the same colour pegs on each item when hanging out washing, all similar things have to be hung together. All things have to be straight, regardless of what they are and all clothes must be ironed.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jan by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jan:
Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?
Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:
For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies
Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources
You are now a confirmed member of Wikitree. Thank you for volunteering.
Our G2G Forum is the hub of our communication. Pop in when you have time and introduce yourself or ask a question, we all love to welcome a new member :)
If there is something you are having trouble understanding or you need additional help learning how to use WikiTree, you can always contact a mentor.
Both G2G and mentors are accessible through the Help drop down menu top right of your page. There are also useful tabs at the top of your profile.
A warm welcome to the Wikitree Family. By now you will have received an email with useful links to get you started. Take your time and browse the site to see what Wikitree has to offer.
Wikitree is different, because we have one goal: To have one big Global tree. This means we have one profile per person, and we collaborate as one big team.
When you confirm your email address, you will have the opportunity to volunteer by adding tags to your profile. These should contain what interests you in your genealogy: surnames, locations, etc.
A Greeter will then confirm your membership, and you will be able to start adding your information.
We are all volunteers here and happy to help if you need it.
