From findagrave.com: Magdalena Brandt Myers was- born in Ehrstadt, Baden, Germany 29 Nov. 1842-Died 12 July 1931 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma-her father was Christian Brandt and her mother was Elizabeth Musselman who was born in Prussia.

1847 immigrated to USA. Naturalized citizen.

1870 lived with husband, Joseph, and 3 children on family farm in Fairfield Township, DeKalb County, Indiana.

Moved from Indiana to Kansas between son, Montgomery's birth in November 1883 and the March 1, 1885 Kansas census.

1885 lived with husband and 5 children in Cherokee Township, Shawnee County, Kansas.
