Mary was born 8 Mar 1873 at Aughnaskeagh, County Down, Ireland. She was the daughter of Hugh Brannan and Jane Knox. [1]

In 1874 she migrated with family on the Rakaia from County Down, Ireland to Canterbury.[2]

She passed away in 1874 age 13 months.[3]
