SHE MARRIED JAMES BRYANT JUNIOR (BORN BEFORE 1694)
Sarah Braswell was born around 1690 - 1695 in Isle of Wight, Isle of Wight, Virginia. She lived in Nash Co., NC and died in 1742 in Northampton, North Carolina, British Colonial America. Her parents are believed by some to be William Braswell and Mary Braswell (born Collings Or Wilson) but this remains to be proven by a document. Her husband was James Bryant, Jr.
Sarah Braswell Bryant, and her husband James Bryant, sold to William Braswell of Chowan land patented to James Bryant apparently after James and Sarah Bryant left the area.
On Feb. 26, 1728, William Braswell II, conveyed to John Bonde, Merchant, for 50 pds., 630 acres on the NS Meherrin River, land where his father [William Braswell I] lived, Patent granted Aug. 10, 1720. Wit: JAMES BRYANT, Sarah Drake. Recorded May 14, 1729, Robert Forster C/C
