Maddy Hardman
The original profile had a list of christenings, but many of them had the wrong first name for the date claimed. For example, it originally said the couple had a child Thomas christened on 22 Oct 1797, but the source I found associates that christening date with John. Where it says WRING NAME, that is what was originally written on the profile. The sourced christenings are what I’ve added. Hope this helps, Maddy

I am unsure about the notes regarding incorrect baptisms? It seems to have been approached from John and Margaret, rather than from their son Thomas? Is the wrong name being suggested as not BROTHERTON? instead of BRATHERTON? What is there to suggest that the baptism for son Thomas is incorrect? Are there 2 sets of John and Margaret?

I came across this when trying to resolve an error that now appears for the profile.
