Lionel Bratt was born in Greenwich, Kent, England.

Lionel was born in 1858 in Greenwich, Kent, England.[1] He was the son of George Bratt and Mary Ann Sanders.

The 1871 England and Wales Census shows Lionel living with his parents and five siblings in Peckham St Mary Magdalen, Surrey, England.[2] He was 13 years old.

The 1881 England and Wales Census shows Lionel living with his parents and four siblings in Camberwell, Surrey, England.[3] He was 23 years old and was working as a Clerk.

In 1888 Lionel married Minnie Jane Searle in Greenwich, Kent, England.[4] She was 30 years old.

The 1901 England and Wales Census shows the couple, three children and Minnie's sister Ellen living in Lambeth, London, England.[5] Lionel was 43 years old and working as a Manufacturer of Stoves and Chimney Pieces.

The 1911 England and Wales Census shows the couple, three children and extended family living in Lambeth, London, England.[6] Lionel was 53 years old and the Managing Director of a Manufacturer of Stoves and Chimney Pieces.

Lionel passed away in 1949.[7][8] He was 91 years old.

Probate was completed on 20 February 1950 in London, England.[8] The beneficiaries were Frederick John Baucher Gardner and Eric Cecil Bratt.
