Marie Sophie was born to master shoemaker Ernst Heinrich Brauer in Uelzen and his wife Dorothea Elisabeth née Debo on 24 Sep 1825. She was baptized on 12 Oct 1825.[1]
Georg Heinrich August was born on 4 Jan 1850. He was the son of Johann Friedrich Conrad Asseburg and Marie Sophie Brauer (and was legitimized by his father as the parents married a few months after the birth). He passed away 26 Dec 1863 and was buried on 29 Dec.[2]
Schuhmacheramtsmeister Johann Friedrich Conrad (son of Schuhmacheramtsmeister Heinrich Asseburg zu Burgdorf) married Marie Sophie Brauer (daughter of the Schuhmacheramtsmeister Ernst Heinrich Brauer from Burgdorf) on 23 June 1850 [3].
Ernst Ludwig Wilhelm was born in Uelzen on 24 Feb 1852 and baptized in the Marienkirche on 21 Mar 1852. Witnesses were Christoph Wilhelm Asseburg, Christoph Ernst Pries, and Wilhelm Ludwig Otte.[4]
Dorothea Catharine Elisabeth was born on 8 July 1854 (parents "Bürger und Schuhmacheramtsmeister Johann Friedrich Conrad Asseburg in Uelzen und dessen Ehefrau Marie Sophie geb. Brauer")[5]
Eleonore Marie Ernestine Georgine Asseburg was born on 2 Dec 1857 to Bürger and Schuhmacheramtsmeister Johann Friedrich Conrad Asseburg in Uelzen and his wife Marie Sophie née Brauer.[6]
Heinrich Friedrich Asseburg was born on 8 July 1860 (around 23:30) in Uelzen. His parents were "Bürger und Schuhmacheramtsmeister Johann Friedrich Conrad Asseburg in Uelzen und dessen Ehefrau Marie Sophie geborene Brauer".[7]
Maria Dorothea Magdalena Asseburg was born in Uelzen on 13 Apr 1866 and baptized in Uelzen on 1 Jul 1866. Her parents were Schuhmachermeister Johann Heinrich Conrad Asseburg in Uelzen and his wife Marie Sophie née Brauer.[8][9]
Johann Friedrich Conrad died on 17 Feb 1867 "abends sieben dreiviertel Uhr" after long disease and was buried on 22 Feb 1867. His parents were Schuhmachermeister Heinrich Asseburg in Burgdorf und dessen Ehefrau Catharine Margarethe geboren Plahs.[10][11]
She married again after the death of her husband. As a widow she was a respected "Totenfrau", in charge of organizing funerals. [12]
Widow Marie Sophie Asseburg née Brauer died on 3 Oct 1910 and was buried at Marienkirche Uelzen on 6 Oct 1910.[13]
