Biography

Frank was born in 1935. He was the son of Franz Braun and Elisabeth Wall. He passed away in 2000.

Family Information -

Elisabeth (THE MOTHER OF FRANK) was the daughter of Nikolai Wall and Anna Strauss. She was born and raised in the Mennonite village of Spat, Crimea, Russia. Her grandfather Cornelius Wall was a co-founder of this village, which was founded around 1880-1881.

Elisabeth married Franz Braun on Ocotber 28, 1927 in the Mennonite village of Spat, Crimea, Russia. Franz and Elisabeth had 2 daughters and 1 son.

Elisabeth with her children fled to Germany in 1943. 1947 to Canada. To North Kildonan, Manitoba.

Franz was taken away without cause on December 15, 1937 to a prison 10 km from Chortitza in Zaporozhye. He was shot February 2, 1938.
