Biography

Julianna Brawner was born on December 16, 1809, in Manassas, Prince William, Virginia. She was the daughter of William Brawner and Susan Redmond.

Julianna married John Strother sometime before 1834. They are thought to have had eight children - Susan Elizabeth, Mary Catherine, George William, James Redmond, Robert Fenton, Alfred Meredith, Gertrude Powell, and Laura P.

Julia passed away on February 11, 1891, in Fauquier County, Virginia, at the age of 81. She was buried at Nalley-Strother Families Cemetery in Fauquier County, Virginia.^[1]
