Biography
Son of Thomas Bray and Mary Ann Crack
From Find-A-Grave:
- Born England, immigrated 1865-1869. Settled Blackhawk county, IA. Married Alice M Beckwith Nov 22, 1872 Lincoln twp, Blackhawk county, IA, devoted husband and father gave up much of his own happiness for the sake of his family. 11 children present at funeral including Miss Carrie of Whitten and Miss Marie of Marshalltown. Suffered paralytic stroke 3 yr's prior to his death, died living with a daughter while living in Galt IA. Laid to rest beside his good wife who preceded her husband to the better land thirteen years ago.
The Birth Record son William notes that he was delivered by Alice's father.
