Biography

On March 28, 1846 Matilda Jane Brazil was born to parents Jesse Light Brazil and Martha Jane Huchingson in Arkansas.[1]

In 1850, 4 year old Matilda was living with her 23 year old father Jesse, 20 year old mother Martha, 3 year old brother William, and 1 year old sister Mary Francis.[2]

In 1860, 13 year old Matilda was living with her 32 year old father Jesse, 25 year old mother Jane, 12 year old brother William, 10 year old sister Francis, 9 year old sister Elizabeth, 7 year old brother Jacob, 3 year old sister Sarah along with two males named Eli & Thomas Chambers.[3]

On July 4, 1869, 22 year old Matilda married Robert F. Stafford in Baxter, Texas.[4] [5]

On May 1, 1892, Matilda's husband passed away.[6]

On January 11, 1937, 90 year old Matilda passed away in Chappel, Texas. Her cause of death was listed as senility.[7]

It is correctly stated that On July 4, 1869, 22 year old Matilda married Robert F. Stafford, but when you click his link it goes to Robert E Stafford. They were cousins. She was not married to Robert Earl Stafford.

Brazil-131 and Brazil-256 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same names, the same dates of birth and death, and the only difference is that 256 is connected to her own family (Stafford), and 131 needs that connection established.
