Biography

Sarah married James M. Lamar on February 1, 1849 in Greene County, Indiana (Book E, page 83).

In the 1850 census, James Lemarr, Jr (26 yrs old) and Sarah (age 23) are living in Martin County, Indiana and have a daughter, Phoebe(6 months old).

Sarah died and on Aug 21, 1856, and James M Lemar married Unity Brazzell sister of Sarah Brazzell -- Harrison Co Missouri records. They had one daughter, Unity Lamar, in 1859. Unity Brazzell Lamar apparently died in childbirth or shortly there after.

"and I will to William Brazzell or heirs one dollar. to Daniel Brazzell or heirs one dollar and to Sarah Lemar or heirs one dollar after which the remainder of the value of the appraisement is to be equally divided among my seven living children (viz) Rhoda Rily, Elizabeth Brazzell, Unity Lemar, Samson Brazzell, Joshua Brazzell, Riley Brazzell and John Brazzell " Sarah received one dollar from the estate of Joshua Brazzel, Sr It is not known for certain the parents of Sarah Brazzel.

William Brazzel Daniel Brazzel Sarah Brazzel all lived with Joshua Brazzel, Sr while young so I presume they are nephews and niece of Joshua but have found no proof.
