Hellos Thomas. I have been researching Blevins for about 30 years off and on. Hopefully we can collaborate on a few things. I found Blevins on both sides of my Mother's family back to Wales, 1300's. I haven't updated my tree in quite some time. Just went back down the rabbit hole again last night.
Hello Dale. I have been working the Blevins. I am a long time researcher new to Wikitree. Currently in the process of setting up my family tree with researched sources. Nice to meet you, Ange
Ange, your entry to Wikitree is SO appreciated! And if you've been researching a long time already, you're going to be a great asset here & definitely ahead of me! I haven't had nearly the time I wish so I could learn and do more here, but I'm hoping the time will come before too long. I know there are a lot of "problems" in different Blevins' profiles, & every fix is a help to get to the goal we all want here. Thank you for joining and helping out, and it's great to meet you, too!
The United Kingdom Project has not been active since 2018 and we are now completely closing it down. We are removing all UK project badges. If you still have an interest in the UK and have not already joined another project, then you will need to join the England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales Project by answering one or more of their G2G posts. If your interest is in the British Isles and British Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories, then please contact me directly.
As you may have seen, we have been doing some restructuring in the US Southern Colonies Project and are now organising ourselves into different teams. We have also changed the criteria for membership. Please have a look at the new project pages, and let me know whether you would like to remain in the project and, if so, which team(s) you would like to be in.
Please can you also send me your e-mail address. I can then make sure you are introduced to your Team Leaders and are in the Google Group.
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the US Southern Colonies Project that you respond to these check-ins. We’re really excited for the future of the project and hope that you decide to be a part of it with us moving forwards.
Wondered if you would be interested in the next challenge the 4th Clean-A-Thon Friday, April 24, at 8 AM (EDT) and run until Monday, April 27, at 8 AM (EDT).
The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group.
See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details.
The Teams are :-
1. Categories Team
2. Counties Team
3. Managed Profiles Team
4. Membership Team
5. Profile Improvement Team
6. Topics Team
7. Diaspora
?
Can you let me know which team(s) youd like to join.
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Just a note to say registration opens on Monday for a new challenge Connect-A-Thon. The G2G registration question will be asked on Monday so keep your eyes open for it.
If you are interested in working with the Sandringham Strollers again Gillian and I would be delighted to have you in the team.
Just drop me a line to say you plan on joining us or if you cannot make it
On behalf of the US Southern Colonies Project, I am doing a six-month check-in with members to see what aspects of the project interest them most and whether you have suggestions for other project goals. We thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your ancestors.
In the last two months have you been active in this project or other Southern Colonies Subprojects, such as Southern Pioneers Project. Do you have suggestions for Southern Pioneers?
Hi Day, how are you? We haven't caught up for ages. I just wanted to let you know I've added a table to the Thomas Name Study page. Let me know what you think!
Thanks for the update. We moved up to sixth place which is amazing. We have until 1pm GMT so will be interesting to see if we stay in that position. Joe only just joined in the fun as he has been away on business
You take care of your self first and foremost and look out for the clean a thon
I think they will run the scan a thon again so 12 months to get organised
