Birth year is uncertain. Death record gives birth date Oct. 39, 1851, which is obviously garbled. Grave marker gives year 1851, but not a precise date. Breed family genealogy gives date, Nov. 21, 1852. Social Security application gives 30 Oct 1851 [10].
