Sarah Evelyn Breed, born 12 Dec 1869, was the first child of Cornelia Pells (Conklin) Breed (abt.1845-1917) & Henry Belden Breed (1843-1910)[1]. Per her online memorial site, her birth location was Cornwall, New York. Sarah was enumerated as an infant with her birth family in the 1870 U.S. census of Cornwall [2], and remained in Cornwall during childhood and early adulthood [3],[4],[5].
She married 28 Sep 1904, in Cornwall, New York, William Lee Amoss, with whom she had 2 children [6]:
They resided at Benson, Harford County, Maryland [7], on part of the original Amoss farm. The family worshipped at the Little Falls Quaker Meeting House, at Fallston, MD, founded by William Amoss, son of William Amoss, the emigrant ancestor.
In 1920, Sarah was traced back in Orange County, New York, along with her daughter Cornelia [8].
Sarah Evelyn (Breed) Amoss died 1 Jul 1927 in Benson, Maryland. Her grave is in Friends Cemetery, Fallston, Harford County, Maryland, USA [9].
